Undie Sunday!

July 23 2023 Undie Sunday

Undie (slang for underwear) Sunday Canada began in December of 2008 as a way to assist people facing challenging economic and other situations.

Since then, many other churches have join the effort to bring hope and dignity to those in difficult times.

Many clothing banks accept previously worn outerwear (jackets) and over-wear (clothes).  However, no one wants to wear used undergarments.  Yet the need of undergarments for the homeless and those in need still exists.

Pleasant Valley Church is taking a step to meet this need and raising dignity by launching Undie Sunday.

Undie Sunday will take Sunday July 23 9-10am
We will collect new, still in the package undergarments, to pass on to shelters and clothing banks right in our community.

Boxers, briefs, diapers, bras, “long johns”, socks, undershirts etc. will be accepted.

ITEMS MUST BE NEW AND PREFERABLY STILL IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING.

Arrange for a Drop off or Pick up by calling the office.
